Bingo.com has entered the social media gaming world with a beta version of its popular Trophy Bingo. The game, available in test markets via smartphones and tablet computers running Apple iOS and Google Android operating systems—as well as on Facebook—was designed in conjunction with iGaming developer Roadhouse Interactive.
“Americans and Canadians are some of the most avid bingo players in the world and now Bingo.com has an innovative new product to offer them,” announced Jason Williams, CEO for Bingo.com.
The product in question is a beta version of Bingo.com’s new Trophy Bingo proprietary social bingo game. Created in a partnership between the company and iGaming developer and operator Roadhouse Interactive, Trophy Bingo is due to be made available in ‘select test markets only’ via smartphones and tablet computers running Apple iOS and Google Android operating systems in addition to Facebook.
“The beta release of Trophy Bingo is an important step to completing Bingo.com’s entry into the social casino marketplace,” Williams said. “While we remain focused on our gambling strategy in targeted European markets, Trophy Bingo will enable Bingo.com to monetize its substantial North American traffic, which arrives naturally to Bingo.com.”
The Anguilla-based firm announced that, after a trail period of four to six weeks, it anticipates a global release of the title via Apple’s App Store, Google Play and Facebook.
Trophy Bingo is themed around a best-in-breed dog show and sees players attempt to win their way to a blue ribbon.
